Therapy Testimonials
Hina is a caring person who really knows her anatomy and understands how the body works. She greatly relieved bladder frequency and tailbone pain for me and showed me some exercises that help to keep me feeling better. I'm so grateful to my doctor for recommending her and to Hina for fitting me into her schedule - and it's nice knowing I can check in when the pain/problems flare up.

There are literally no words that can express how much Hina has helped me. I suffered a very hard fall while jogging three years ago and really wasn't sure that I was even injured at first. After a couple of days, the muscles in my legs, pelvic area, abdominal area and torso started to hurt pretty bad and seemed to be getting worse every day. After about two weeks, I noticed that my walking was off, my muscles were hurting more and more, and I was unable to perform almost any daily activity without being in excruciating pain. I went to several doctors who stated that they couldn't find anything wrong with me despite taking numerous X-rays and MRIs. They would tell me things such as "muscles simply take a while to heal". Very frustrated, I then saw more doctors such as orthopods, physiatrists, massage therapists, and chiropractors desperate for answers. Not only could none of them help me but one doctor suggested that I have to learn to live with the pain and seemed to blame me for my problem adding insult to injury. Then the long list of physical therapists began. I bounced from therapist to therapist with no relief whatsoever and realized that they were in fact making me worse. They were stretching me, working me out, and giving me home exercises that clearly added to my pain and just made me feel even worse by treating me like a name and number. At this point, almost a year and half passed and I was now in a constant state of depression and feeling anxiety for the first time in my life. I was always known to everyone as the extroverted and happy guy who always made everyone laugh. My quality of life was now horrible and I often found myself crying and depressed on a daily basis and everyone in my life could see it. Finally about six months later, after more tests showed nothing wrong, one of the doctors suggested my problems seem to be stemming from my pelvis and gave me several cortisone shots, which also did nothing. He later told me that he heard about a lady named Hina Sheth in Narberth that specialized in the Pelvis and has helped other patients of his. I was more then skeptical but at this point had nothing to lose.
Hina quickly identified my problem realizing that my pelvis had twisted from my fall which is what was causing my muscles and body alignment to pull and be out of whack, but more importantly, she immediately assessed that my connective tissue (fascia) was extremely tight and that my body's twisted position had caused the fascia to almost lock up and become adhered. This was why the MRIs, cortisone and other conventional protocols were not helping since it was not muscular but in fact the fascia. Unlike the countless massage therapists, Hina was instantly able to recognize exactly where the facial restriction where and physically work these areas in all different directions thereby loosening and releasing these restrictions more and more with each session. Words can't possibly express the euphoric feeling of finally having hope to get my life back. What gave me even more comfort was she really seemed to care and gave me personal attention. Within about 6 months, for the first time I actually felt relief and both my mood and mindset were starting to change for the better. I can honestly say now that I am pretty much completely healed, back to my normal life and my old self again. As hard as it may be to believe for someone reading this, as I read her testimonials before my first visit, Hina very well may have actually saved my life. I was so depressed and in "Chronic Pain" as every doctor felt the need to point out, that I could not work, be around friends or family and can't even imagine what my life would have been had I not crossed Hina's path. It is almost like a nightmare that I woke up from and is now completely in my past. Should anyone reading this want any more detail about Hina or my experience, I am more than willing to share my story with you directly if you should give Hina your contact information or feel more confortable requesting my information from Hina. I only wish upon others that are suffering to acheive the level of healing and relief that I did.

would be pleased to tell the world how much Hina Sheth helped me with my painful colorectal problems and coccyx bone pain. She did physical therapy of the pelvic floor and accomplished miracles, especially when no one else was able to help me.. She is knowledgeable as well as gentle and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone with colorectal problems of any kind.

When i started treatment with Hina, i was 42 years old and had suffered from vulvar vestibulitis (in my case, the main symptom was pain during vaginal penetration) for almost twenty years. Early on, i had tried several treatments including drugs and injections which had not helped and had left me feeling physically and emotionally hurt. I’d come to feel i’d rather live with the situation as it was than suffer any more in attempting to change it. Although i was lucky to be in a deeply loving marriage, over time, i had increasingly come to avoid sex in general because it brought up feelings of hopelessness, self-alienation and despair. When i learned that physical therapy might help, i decided to try again. Hina respected my attitude that i wanted not to aggressively “fix a problem” but to compassionately bring my body back into as much integration and health as possible. Because vulvar vestibulitis effects surface tissue, i didn’t expect that physical therapy would ever allow me to experience pain-free vaginal penetration—but after a year of treatment, i’m now able to enjoy vaginal penetration with absolutely no pain! While doing it every day or with great athleticism may not be in the cards for me, to be able enjoy this form of intimacy with my partner is an amazing gift. The work with Hina also brought me a greater sense of physical integration and confidence. Now i’ve also begun to enjoy running and weight training. Where for so long there was fear, avoidance and despair, i now experience a sense of greater wholeness and openness to connection and joy. Hina is skilled, compassionate, an active teacher in her field, and a clear and open communicator. I recommend Rebalance PT wholeheartedly.

I started seeing Hina after going to a specialist because of multiple yeast infections, which caused nerve, tissue and muscle damage to my pelvic floor and surrounding areas. Medication just wasn't resolving the pain. I was really pleased with her professionalism and care. She made an awkward therapy session seem perfectly normal. Hina is super knowledgeable and friendly. She provided me with exercises to do at home and looked at overall health to resolve my pelvic pain issues. I can't say enough good things about her! My husband and I extend many thanks!
